Master P. Devesh Reddy (Std.8 student of Alpha CBSE School, Porur) won the title of Super Champion 1st Kyu
in the International Soroban and Mental Arithmetic Competition conducted by
Global Association of Japanese Soroban and Mental Arithmetic (GAJSMA) in
Bangkok, Thailand on Oct. 1.
As a defending Champion
he won the gold medal and the championship title
consecutively for the second time.
Around 450
students from across the world participated in the competition.
Devesh has been a National Champion four times in a row and has been
representing India at the international level for past four years.
