Government officer rental quarters in Ambattur Estate Road, Thirumangalam Anna Nagar

MTC operates buses for pickup and dropping Govt. staffs like Doctor, Nurse, Corporation staffs, Secretariat staffs and Madras High court staffs .

The time schedule is 9 am for two buses and 9.30 am for other bus.

These three buses are waiting to pickup the staffs in front of the Government officer rental quarters in Ambattur Estate Road, Anna Nagar. via Thirumangalam, Anna Nagar, Anna arch, KMC, GH, Madras High court and Secretariat.

Awareness campaign held at Velammal

An Awareness Campaign to fight against the spread of COVID-19 was held at Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus, by the Tamil Nadu Police recently.

This campaign was aimed at raising the awareness on how to wear a mask properly, wash hands frequently, maintain social distancing, practicing personal hygiene, coughing etiquettes, and how to handle the crowd and raise awareness on combating Corona Virus.

More than five hundred police personnels including Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners with in the city attended the campaign.

The awareness campaign concluded on the message 'Secure the community and stay protected'.

Due to lockdown of Covid 19, As per instructions by, DMK president M K Stalin,Chennai South District Secretary M Subramaniam, DMK Organising secretary R.S Bharathi MP and guidance of Alandur legislator T.M Anbarasan, R. Baskaran (South district representative of DMK, 156 ward of Mugalivakkam) was provided breakfast and lunch on April.10 to Karunai Illam. Party cadres also participated in the event.
